1) Good but my Utopian team's accountant still doesn't want to pay for scouting. I may have to put my foot down.

2) That seems like a lot of players at first thought. Is this really a good idea? Might it lead to deflation of transfer prices. Not sure but I think it could be discussed. I may have suggested previously such players should only be available to relatively new teams (non Utopia) but that might be too complex to include.

3) Seems to make sense.

4) Interesting.

The news says it won't count towards training minutes but nothing was said about possible revenues or injuries (if injuries will count I'll hate the new feature).

True that if the new tournament will be some sort of private league it will be useless. Let's hope for the best though.

I find it very difficult to speak of a p2w. The allocation of nationality is random, with an easier chance for NTs who are far down the rankings. However, the nations that benefit from this action are those that have very small player pools (like Barbados, India or Pakistan)

However, as already pointed out here, there is no way to control which nationality the player receives in Utopia. So countries like Barbados, India or Pakistan finally get the chance to play at least at U21 level with five 21yo players in the starting five (or still maybe not). Countries like Poland, Spain or Italy have been able to do this for a long time and yet the balance of power will remain the same as before, only: the gap between strong and weak nations has become minimally smaller.

In any case, it's a good idea and a development in the right direction.
