I would like to speak here with all the Icelandic managers and also with the coach of the senior national team. Thomase
(98878)
has always been very interested in the growth of our teams, and he will surely have some proposals.

Thank you for your words.
Yes, there are ideas. I really hope that you stay on as Iceland's U21 coach.
PM me for ideas. (For example Draft).

I'm not sure how many of our Icelandic managers are active. It would be very interesting to get some kind of a discussion going.
Especially the active managers who are dedicated to training Icelandic talent.
Share some tips and tricks etc.
Also wondering that when we get some great talent, are the managers training them optimally?
Just by spending some time on discord I've actually learned that I for sure did not train the best way I could have with the first few players when I started (and probably still not doing everything right).
But yeah, simply wondering how the community here is like, who's very active etc.
Would also be cool to build a plan with the NT manager, what kind of player profiles do we want for the NT. So some could maybe train SB bigs while someone else is training traditional bigs and so forth

I think there are 7-8 active users. I also see that several talents have been sold and are being trained quite well. It is no coincidence that last season we achieved good results in the tournament.
I believe the foundations for creating good NT teams are there.
Personally I'm building a big SB right now ;)
PS: If you want we can create a
Discord group
with the most active users or those who are training Icelandic guys. Obviously the coach of the senior national team, Thomase, would also be invited. It wouldn't be necessary to be active and write every day but maybe just for posting screenshots, utraining updates or have a quick chat from time to time...

Hello!
I麓m focusing on training only Icelandic players on both my teams.
Moving towards big men on the utopia and will be training my 22 year olds in my main team for a little longer.
Not sure when to stop training them though, maybe you have some insight in to that?

Nice! I'm curious about training SB bigs at some point. Maybe in my utopia team or something.
Also lucky for us that some talents are being trained outside the country!
But yeah I think a discord group could be a fun idea, like you say, not for being active there everyday chatting but just to post training updates and ask questions or advice etc.

HI!
I trust the U21 manager to do the right job here, I will withdraw me from the election. I am starting to try and train Icelandic players, I got very good player but has low potential sadly, I have been active for a while now and will be, also just created my second team and will be focusing on Icelandic players, I have been at this team since 2022 but had been playing in early seasons (season 8).
Let's work to towards great for Iceland!

Thanks for your input St贸mas.
Basically, you could write to all Icelandic managers and inform them that "we" (whoever) have a long-term plan to promote Icelandic talent. It must be known that local players, ideally from your own draft, are an investment in the team, but also for the U21 and later the national team. For talents with high potential, the U21 is not always the first goal, but the NT.
I would like to tell every Icelandic manager how to proceed in a personal email. We are currently missing SF, PF and C. The training paths are logically up to each manager, but in every country there are U21 or NT coaches who set a certain path and offer help to managers who are unsure.
I talk to the U21 coach and send him my plan. It's not sure how the Icelandic managers will react if a Swiss gives them tips :-)
There is a lot to do, but the chances are good if we are patient.
See you soon.

Hey there!
I don't think managers mind getting a plan or help from the NT manager or other managers, or at least I hope so.
Maybe it depends, but what I've noticed on discord that there are a few managers out there who have consistently created some amazing top end talent. Those managers know for sure how to train. Getting help from someone like that at least would hopefully not insult anyone
Also I have gotten my hands on some tools if anyone is interested, tools to help you see c.a. how a player turns out depending on the training you implement.
The coefficients are different in the two tools so they don't have the exact same results, but it is just for assistance anyway and it really helps you understand how things work and what can be more optimal.
I can link them if anyone is interested
