DMI: The overall player index, DMI, gives a very rough indication of how good your player is. This is a good way to check that your player is getting training, but is otherwise a lot less meaningful than it first appears. Be warned!

DMI is figured by multiplying a player's salary (not the salary shown but his true salary) and a multiplier based on his game shape, sublevel included. I don't know what the multipliers are, except that proficient is about 10.
for example:
player A: salary $ 115 140 GS proficient DMI 1214500
player B: salary $ 116 658 GS respectbl DMI 383800
So DMI gives you a very basic look at your player's GS * salary. By looking more closely at it, you can begin to see how much your player's salary has increased based on training, and also at what end of the GS spectrum he is on. Some people consider it a key piece of scouting information, but not me.
