Just hoping West Brom sign a couple of decent players this offseason now that we have climbed up the table a bit. Andy Johnson is the main name being talked about which would be handy for us. Like Arsenal we need a couple of guys that can give us a bit of hard graft in the back half.

Love to see us get a dirty defensive midfielder in the ilk of Keane and a big central defender........bring back Olaf Melberg i say!

I got bored to death playing it for 2 seasons. Playing bots too much and when you get to the human controlled teams the discrepancy in team skills is just way too much that you essentially got no chance.

i heard about hattrick, a couple of workmates play it... they trying to get me hooked on it as well after i got them hooked onto BB, but it's just too much. I do like the stadium feature they have, maybe BB should incorporate something like that where we get to see our Arena's develop!
Anyways, the silly season in football looks to be in full swing!
- Modric being chased by every big club left right & centre, though looks like he will stay regardless.
- I think Arsenal should left Fabs go to Barca and win some championships, he obviously doesn't want to stay @ Arsenal not winning anything.
- Read that Chelsea might let Drogba go! what a mistake, they should just try sell Torres and re-coup some money while they can hahah.
- Ashley Cole was a big signing coup for the Red Devils! Some much needed youth a speed to their midfield.
- Liverpool going for youth with big signing of Sunderland youngster Jordan Henderson, haven't seen much of him but from what I hear, he'll be a future England star!

The best signing for Chelsea would be if they get Gus Hiddink to coach. Coaching Chelsea is the hardest job in football, but he will do a good job.

well it won't be an easy task, look at his predecessors! I think Roman A wants a Champions League Trophy badly and if they manager doesn't help achieve that goal they will get the chop!
Guus is good, but I don't know if he'll be the magic or missing piece they need.

Roman A keeps pulling the trigger too quickly - you've got to allow a coach to build a culture as well as build a team, because there's where you get long term success from. I hate the ManUre, but there's no better example of it than them in the EPL.

They would have won two Champions Leagues by now if they stuck with The Special One, and let him decide who to bring in, not Aramhovic.

yeh that is so true, United have been the most successful English team in the past 10 years because they haven't changed their manager every time the team fails. Through his failures the team has risen past it and won countless trophies.
I guess the Gunners are in a similar but lesser level, they have always been successful but just not to the level of United.
It is defintiely a recipe for success, look how poorly Liverpool performed when there was so much uncertainty about the manager. Now they got Dalglish they need to secure him for the long-term.
