Congrats, mate. You are doing a great work with a lot of effort. I hope you reach good results with more and more fun. I agree with you, we need some big men on the court. We can try to involve the community (I mean everyone who trains Iceland players) by regularly posting ideas about games or players.

Personally, I have just decided to coach only Icelandic players, abandoning any ambition of winning something. I hope this will have a good effect for the national teams in a few seasons

That is a very good idea.

For me, out of 11 players, 7 are Swiss (6 from my own draft), from the draft or if the draft is rubbish, I get another Swiss.

If there is a suitable Iceland player, this would be an alternative.

First of all, great job by our u21 NT manager.

Regarding the NT team, I think most of us realize the team isn't exactly stacked with great players.

I'm doing the same as Chicago Bulbs is doing, I'm only training Icelandic players, will try to get to the top league at some point but the focus and goal is to train NT players.

This is of course ideal if the Icelandic players are trained in their own country, as there is then more advertising revenue.

When the new draft is out, I'll take a look at all the players. Maybe there is a diamond in the rough in the draft box?

Our boys do both. After the victories against Tounes (74257) and Misir (74275), the sun feels even brighter than usual.

Sure, we're not the world champions yet, but we're working on winning against Jamaica (away) and against Nigeria (home). Appetite comes with eating.

Memories of old times

The 3 wins in a row (132-94) against Jamaica brings back memories of times long past, in season 36 and a few seasons earlier, there were last 3 wins in a row.

But that's not enough. We would also like to win the last game against Nigeria.

Then the elections are coming up again.

Too bad, opportunity wasted. If you only play normally instead of with crunch time against an opponent within range, you will go under.

I don't know whether it's worth ruining your motivation like that.

It could be that the tactics were wrong, bad positioning, whatever. Get up and carry on. Hope dies last...
