My dear friends,

Tonight our journey in the Consolation tournament finally ended. We were stopped by a very good team that had HCA and superior game shape of the key players. We had many troubles prior the match. First it was our best PF Karl Einar Hopedal with his injury which destroyed his game shape, then it was our top C Aanen Lian with his inadequate game shape in 2 consecutive weeks due to bad minute management by the owner, then came Åge Guttormsen - our traditional SF choice for LI tactics - also with poor minute management and unfortunate random factoring in the game shape for the current week, and finally we were knocked on the floor with this Friday's catastrophic game shape update of our our leader Egon Olesen. The circumstances were that I was not able to properly use these 4 major guys in the red shirt.

With confidence I'd say we won the game tactically, but the combination of the aforementioned factors and the early injury of our starting SF in the game Yohannes Vatland (played only 8 minutes) led to the outcome. We put more effort but just didn't have luck this week.

Yet, the game was awesome! A classic OT playoff game and you can see the box score on the NT page.
11 - 6 was my record as Norge NT coach in the past 2 seasons and we had nice improvement in the World Ranking list.

Soon I will publish the season development of the current and potential players, the way I did on this post (30761.201) in the section The Players. Let's see who was the best trainer of Norwegian players.

I had a great time as your NT coach and I hope you've enjoyed the last couple of seasons as much as I did.

It's a pity no one in the community was interested in Lian. He was bought for $ 331 600 by a 5-day old team and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that Lian will not be available for the squad next season. Potentially he would've give 40k+ merchandise to a local team.

Hi all,

tonight we managed to grab our second win in the Euro's. Our overall GS was not on the adequate level and I feared that we will suffer a defeat but in the end it all came out right. I decided to put 3-2 zone in defense. Rebounding wasn't a problem, but the superior game shape of Belarus guards was a real threat to our side, hence the defensive tactical decision. Their patient was not the smartest choice and the gamble did pay of in the end.

The owners of current and potential NT players have to be more careful with the weekly minute distribution and game shape management in the remaining of the season. There are tough games ahead of us.
