The next match should be a piece of cake as we will face Ghana who have not won yet.

As expected, we beat Ghana tonight (114-99): (69774)
Ghana had decided to crunch and the refs had chosen their side, but we were stronger.
MVP: Shafilshuna Machemko who scored 26 pts (10-18).
Last match of this pool against Tunisia next Monday.

It was a walk in the park tonight as we beat Tunisia 116-65: (69779)
MVP: Fabian Pöll who dominated in the paint with 30 points (14-17) and 7 boards in just 24 minutes.
The 1st round is over and we finished it undefeated.
We will start round 2 with a 5-0 record while Senegal and Egypt will start with a 3-2 record.
We are in a good position. Please keep your players in good shape.

We clinched the #1 seed with a 104-84 W over Senegal: (70617)

We will be able to keep our enthusiasm at its maximum during the last 3 games.
The next one will be against Tunisia, which we easily beat in the 1st round.

Sorry for the lack of communication. I was on holiday the last 2 weeks.
The minimum goal which was to reach the final is achieved.
The final will be tomorrow evening against Morocco, the only team that beat us this season.
We are slightly favorites IMO but Morocco will benefit from the HCA.

Unfortunately, we lost the final 95-107: (71031)
Congratulations to the coach of Morocco.
We were behind in scoring throughout the game.
He took advantage of the HCA and made better tactical choices, including a good GDP.
I also made the mistake of choosing a 2-3 zone to ensure the rebound.
It was a bad choice because the opponent managed to score too many 3-pts.
It's the 2nd time in a row that I don't get the gold medal, so I want to apologize.
