I don't think so. World cup almost means nothing to most of them. They will be at full strength in Tokyo next year though.

But for me, the real disappointment was that so many Canadian players declined to play in the tournament. Hopefully, we will see most nations with their best rosters next year. Even then, the US won't be invincible.

WC means nothing to them because they usually win it. IMO some of them shoud be pissed of by today's result. (I can't understand players who don't want to play for their country, Joakim Noah for example...)

The season in USA and now Europe is pretty long, so some guys chose to spend the summer with their families, on holiday, resting... Most of the players on WC are now playing for 10-11 months basicaly without seeing a family (15-20 days top in this period of time )

If WC means nothing to them, they won't care more about just bc their country got eliminated. I understand players like Lebron, Curry, Harden and all those that took part in national tournaments before and maybe played many consecutive offseasons. At one point you have to take a break. But there were a couple of players whose refusal really surprised me. The chances for Bagley to make the team were really good. I didn't understand his decision and he wasn't the only one. Maybe he was afraid of getting hurt and missing more time next season, maybe it was the team that intervened. We can only guess. I was really looking forward to the WC in China hoping for the best possible rosters.
Anyway, I think we can still expect exciting, high-quality semifinals on Friday.
I'm routing for the Boomers now. Patty and Delly are those kind of players you wish for your NT regarding their dedication. I'm really impressed by Ingles and of course, as a Warrior I will always support Andrew, especially when he gets booed constantly by the Chinese^^
I can imagine Simmons being unhappy about his decision if they win it all.

I can't understand players who don't want to play for their country, Joakim Noah for example...
At least now you don't need him anymore ;)
France's chance for gold are as good as any other team's and if they are successful, Germany's loss to France in game 1 is a whole other story ...

Tony Parker did PO every year. He only miss one international compétition. Not an argument to me.

Édit: and many others!

You're right. Some players refuse like Lillard. I can't understand that.

They just don't give a f...

Good for us!

Tony Parker also only played 80+ regular season games 3 times. He was often load managed with the rest of the Spurs so him and Ginobili are different cases than most of these guys.

I once had a team with 1757 players and was $25,835,360 in debt. This is not that team. Join the Discord group open to anyone, but especially for USA managers to improve your club or get involved with the U21 and NT programs (https://discord.gg/cKpNkt2).

Seriously, he played almost every summer with the french NT (except once).

How many summer competition played most of these guys who quit the ship? Almost none.

I agree to say that LBJ and all warrior team aren't concerned because of huge amount of minutes.

But what to say about: Lillard? Beal? Mc Collum? Gordon? Love (lol!) ? Lowry? AD?

Come on !
