Really nice player. Probably the best for a guard in his age group when you are basing it off overall skills height and potential. Not only do I think he will probably make the U21 team but he has a great chance at making the national team as well down the line. You are very lucky.

The only bad thing about him is that he fouls a ton...

Thanks, what do you think of his secondaries? How much do they need to be raised in your opinion?

I think the only bad secondary is ID but with OD training it will be raised. Word of the wise do not do inside training on a short guard. Learned that the hard way

You have a great trainee, but you are playing him too many minutes. The least amount you need for 100% training is 48 minutes (It is indicated as 48+ in the training box on the Manage My Team page). The general consensus is 48-75 minutes per week, but the sweet spot is around 50-60 minutes per week. This will raise the Game Shape of your players. The higher a player's game shape, the better they perform. 9 GS is the best, while 8 GS is pretty good.

You need more players. In order to be competitive and to make money, a good amount of players on your team is 10-14. The first 10 are for league games, and the rest are for Cup matches/scrimmages. Another big moneymaker is your arena. This is where you will make a majority of your money. Right now, I would expand the bleachers by 500 and the lower tier by 150. Building your arena is very important.

Unfortunately, you landed in a D4 league. If I were you, I would tank and invest 10k in the draft each week to get a guard to train along with Richmond. Or you could buy one of the transfer list.

Good luck, and enjoy BB!

@BD

spot on! except the draft part................

draft is either: OH YEA! I got a good potential player to help build my team on

or

F*** the draft I got all lowlifes who can't ball

@the guy with richmond

if I were you I'd just save as much $$$ as you can and spend that on the Free Agent Draftees, b/c imo I don't like chances of getting a star+ pot. with approx. 20 scouting points. you can though use the 2 points a week and bank those scouting points for a future draft season (like maybe when you promote back to D4) and then this following season (24) you go out there and get a guy to train alongside Richmond.

just my experience with drafts (all my drafts I didn't invest in, got garbage)........either spend the cash or get trash. 10k imo is not spending the cash.

Don't listen tough,he's just sour at his bad luck.

If you scout correctly you can come out with a great trainee.

I don't really agree with tough either, however he is 100% true in the fact that their is a good chance he will not get anybody good in the draft. Good scouting is always necessary to find the good draftees but if your draft is one of the drafts with no good trainees to begin with then it doesn't matter how good your drafting skills are. If i were him, I would certainly invest in the draft but I wouldn't expect an amazing player. the other thing you do have to consider however is that he already has a REALLY good primary trainee right now, that he will most likely train until he is 25 so he doesnt really need another solid draftee right now because he could just buy a weaker one on the TL for 20k or less with allstar potential and save a ton of money instead of investing.

yea, all my drafts I've only had one good player come out if it. every draft it's always BS. I never get my way.

but I do get my way on the TL which is fortunate for me

Ok guys, my tactics are like this for now and the future:
1. Play with just 4 players in order to make as much money as possible
2. Invest in draftees to sell these good players that i will get in order to make money. There's a big chance for me getting a good trainee being in the last place of my league.
3. Make Quintin Richmond to USA NT
4. Make my team to USA NBBA

P.S. That's why i have these 4 players: for tanking and getting good trainees. Don't worry, it's not the first time i'm playing BB :)
