That's more or less what I was trying to say. You should keep adding seats to your arena while you adjust the prices to maximize profits. I was just trying to argue against having a huge arena in a lower league, and that 450k per season is too much on arena improvements.

Ok, thanks for the answers.

Except Luxury boxes, should I raise all types of seats (bleachers, lower tier, courtside) by the same percentage, or should I buy more of a certain type?

I was thinking about the following upgrade:

Bleachers : 4500 --> 4700
Lower Tier : 450 --> 470
Courtside Seats : 50 --> 52
Luxury Boxes 0 --> 2

I wouldn't agree. There's no point in building a huge arena and then having to set very low prices. You should add seats here and there (I usually use cup revenue to invest in arena expansions), and if you're selling out try raising the prices a bit. 9000 seats at $10 do the same job as 6000 at $15, except the 9000 have cost 600k extra. The money's better spent, other than training, in building a competitive team and promoting, and then higher revenues will follow.


There's plenty of point in improving the arena earl, assuming that you have the intention of someday reaching the upper levels. At some point, you will want to have a 20k arena if you progress to the top -- and of course, the later stages of that progress will require great revenue and great expenditure on salaries and players. Why not start putting the money into the arena in the early stages while it's still ridiculously easy to turn a profit, rather than trying to buy seats when you're already likely to be running a very small profit or even a deficit?

Obviously, there's a balance and nobody's saying to get to 20k ASAP, but likewise, if you're going to have to build the seats eventually, and the price of building them isn't going to change, you might as well start earlier so you can recoup that investment sooner.

You're right when you say that building the arena should be a priority from the start. But you shouldn't invest too much if it means you won't have money to invest elsewhere. As far as I know, revenues aren't that great in div. IV and below. For instance, too much money invested in the arena and too little in your squad can be the difference between promoting from V to IV or staying another season in V. That extra season of revenues in IV will help you more in the long term, I think. It's not that the arena is not a top priority, I'm just warning against spending too much cash on it.

rcvaz: As far as I know in the highest divisions (V/IV etc..) you dont even need a squad, just buy one or two players for 200k (which he will save up over his first and maybe second season)each and your training and GS/enthusiasm management will already promote you. As far as I know that's how it pretty much is.

That's true, I wish I only had 13k Bleachers and 4k-7k LT. But I will be building my LT up to 5k but it will take a few seasons.

What he said not true becuase i have that exact set up i havent promoted.. lol/// I feel the only thing thats going to get folks out of lower leagues is playing the right tatics and training the right players.. i got greedy and wanted to mass 100k a game which can do and have done this is how got my arena so big which what i read to do early becuas eit cheaper which kind of true :).

Ill say stay away from the greed and try to honeslty win.. Train the player right and to honestly try to win ballgames

ty and yes tickets are kinda high for salary reason moslty .. would ower them but the money so good lmaoo..
