Thank you for these kind words. Playing this tournament at home gives you an advantage that could be decisive. Good luck!

We beat Egypt 104-90 to complete the 2nd round: (73271)
MVP: Shafilshuna Machemko with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

It's time for the semi-finals next Friday.
Please keep your players in good shape.
If you could also train GS, it would be awesome!
It can make all the difference.

We beat Senegal in the last seconds of the semi-final: (73587)
Luckily, the opponent missed a free throw to tie the score at the buzzer.
I was very disappointed when I checked the GS of our players this morning.
The worst GS of the season at the worst time!
The bb-mails I sent to all managers last weekend were unsuccessful.

The final will take place this Monday evening against Morocco, the defending champion.
We beat them twice this season. However, given the respective shapes of the teams, Morocco is clearly the favorite.
To be honest, it's very frustrating after the great season we had.

Thanks for your hard work, coach Sandy.
I think you did a great job leading the team to the finals.
Muileki Simelaine(49686599) completes career training program.
I will continue to train South Africa rookies in the future,
but needs MVP or Hall of Famer potential

We lost the final 79-93: (73667).
To be honest, this result pissed me off so much that I didn't return to the game for 3 days.
I remain convinced that if our players had been in good shape, we would have won the gold medal.
Anyway, congratulations on the title to Morocco and their coach.

Yesterday I did a review of current players and potential future players.
I have sent bb-mails to their managers and have already received a few answers.
There are some interesting players at PG/SG/SF.
Some have already joined the team last season.
But there is a severe lack among the big men that will make the team less competitive.

The WC will begin next Monday.
The list of our opponents (in this order):
Hong Kong #5
Bulgaria #12

Israel #8
We are ranked 25th at the start of the season.
As usual, the 1st round will be difficult.

After a very complicated last season in the World Cup where we only won one match (against Venezuela #16), here has arrived the African championship.
The first match took place this evening against Morocco, defending champion, and against all odds we managed to beat them by 2 points at the buzzer: (75224).
Man of the match: Hondo Madikizela with 21 pts (7-11) and 12 assists.
Special mention: Elphus Siamusiye who scored the buzzerbeater!
It's a good result, but we shouldn't jump to conclusions because it's only the start of the season.
The next opponent will be Nigeria.
