Your guy might be best as a PF.

If you are sure you will have the money and GS management to keep him, I would try to get his IS/ID/REB to at least triple 13s. Or you could make him an ID or ID/REB specialist. You should BB-Mail fewmit for a general idea of what his skills need to look like.

If you are willing to sacrifice anywhere from a half-season to a full season train secondaries, he might lose ground and not make the team. If you don't mind him not making U21, I would do a whole season of 1v1 Forwards, with a little OD training mixed in. Not only will this keep salary lower than pumping primaries, he will also be salary efficient. I would stop training 1v1 when his HA/DR are at least average. Then I would pump his primaries, while throwing in a few more secondaries, like PA.

He's a nice player. Good luck training him.

I'm still upset that I lost that bidding war.

note - edited player big man and PF player type requirements: changed ID requirement to a combo ID+SB requirement.

big man: changed from 13ID to 21ID+SB combined
PF: changed from 12ID to 19ID+SB combined

Has that also changed for SF's? Will it increase my chances if I have my SF get good shotblocking as well?

Shotblocking on SFs would be a bonus for consideration (as would quite a few other things like high IS, OD, PS, and/or ID), but I didn't want to either reduce the modest 9ID guideline or make a minimum SB requirement so I left the requirements alone.
