It is a shift from what’s been going on but with new BB’s providing more information and being more active with the game; we will be getting much more information, announcements, and updates in the following seasons.

Thanks for those words, mate! I also enjoyed yours and learned a lot from it.

I've checked my doc and I found a couple of extra points:

- Fast tactics consume stamina faster. Slow tactics consume stamina slower.

- The current GE considers only the level of the starting player and his stamina, not the substitute.

If it is acceptable to share this level of detail, is the medium for sharing this detail acceptable?

[That is, should a collection of different discords, BB threads, etc., generally all conducting in English, a fair and appropriate way to share this info?]

Completely agree. Managers who spend more time in the game will naturally know more about how it works through their own observations and experimentation. It doesn't make sense to reward them because they happen to scour through the forums to find this information. I think it should all be published in the game manual at the very least and some kind of attention should be drawn to that through the news page.

Completely agree. I spoke about it several months back too but there didn't seem to be any response...

I checked these with a BB and the second one is only for FDC but the first one is correct and I'll add them both on.

You're totally fine, I understood the intent of the comment. Just wanted to make that clear as well on my end that it was not posted without approval.

I think it's something thats always been an issue. The game manual has been outdated basically since 2010 when RiP posted his Guide to BB which was updated again in 2016 (I believe those were the correct years). It's never really been just a game manual that we've had access to with BB's answering questions but the answers have gotten more specific.

Part of the reason if I had to guess was for them to work on and improve features they talk about their implementation a bit more in depth to seek suggestions on changes. The stamina, substitution, game engine, and tactical changes had to do with discussions pertaining how to fix short rosters and recent exhaustion mechanics.

I know some BB's want everything hidden and others want more information available to users. I can't get into many details on here but if certain people had their way we wouldn't get any updates in news posts at all. We'd just be surprised when the site works entirely differently which I think would upset a lot of users. It's a balancing act for sure.
