Correct, in previous seasons it was like that, after game on Saturday, the link 'All-Star Weekend' appears on the standings page...

I'm not quite sure, but I know that formula includes stats of player and strength of his team (team's position in league), probably fan base too... I'm not sure if player's skills are considered...

Also there's a significant boost if the player was MVP of the league in the last season.

last season my SG (799807) (24k salary ) got voted in starting five SG position with 56776 votes.
this season after a small training he is again in starting five, but votes are a bit higher too, this time 57128
does votes is higher because of training? or he has a bit better stats than last year in this time?

I would guess that he'll still play in the game. Although nothing really to base that on.
