Outside Shooting trains primarily JR where as Jump Shot as indicated trains primarily JS, this link should be useful (78242.1)

ok thanks, but lemme ask you a question: Is jump shot the accuracy of the shot where as Jump Range is mainly the distance that the player can take them from?

People can correct me if i'm wrong or add more detail but i believe JR effects your chance to hit long range shots and JS is just the general ability to make mid range/outside shots.

In my personal opinion, Jump Shot is the skill which reflects the ability of the player to hit a jumper and the higher the skill, the higher the chance.
Jump Range is a skill, which when higher, will diminish the effect of the shooter being further away. By which I mean that the higher it is trained, it is easier for him to shoot long jump shots and 3 pointers.

I hope it made sense.

Jump Shot: A better shooter will make more shots at all distances.
Jump Range: A player with a higher jump range will find that the effectiveness of his jump shot decreases less with distance.
