There should be a lower $ threshold for PG, PF, and SF, and perhaps a higher $ threshold for C. There are very few PG with $6000 salary among all players, and are extremely rare for FA. But $6000 C are becoming fairly common, especially after the salary update.

I also noticed that. I wanted an SG / SF and only found 1 who liked. Presently these conditions is not economically favorable train Centers, because there are so many on the market that they become devalued, conversely train PG / SG and SF is optimal because as there are few good players in these positions these players become "overvalued".

I completely agree.

i got lucky on a PG investment who shot up to $6478 wage after the last update.. he also popped twice today in key areas... only downside is his NT manager is paranoid about sacking someone before end of season!! My SG has a $6699 wage as well but I guess because both are resp rebounders.. this skill seems to be very wage heavy...

anyone train anything and got pops but not too much of a salary rise? (trying to work out which skills can be increased without burning thru cash)

yeah
try to train skills the don't use much, like blocking for guards...
that doesn't seem to rise their salaries too muc'h
;)

I think their salaries are depending on their 'best position'and the skills they have that are usefull at that position.
