What's the best defense against a team that is very successful and run and gun?

Well, I got shot down last time I tried to answer a similar question, but.... for a run and gun offense where the team is strong outside, you're best off with a 3-2 zone or a 1-3-1 zone.
Edit: Or if you have strong overall defenders, you can go with man to man. With the new GE, some people seem to strongly prefer using man to man.

and of course if you rival is doing a lots of turnovers you can choose a full court press if you are good enough at handling and passing
Howl to the Moon, you won't regret it.

First look at what players of his do most the scoring, if its his outside men I'd go with a 1-3-1.

If you don't have a C who is a good rebounder 3-2 is a safer option than 1-3-1, as the later defense tactic only leaves your C under the hoop when the opposition puts up an outside shot.

first :i think there's no best defense againts all attack tactic...
next : look his 5 last games or all games in this season
next : analyse your opponent, what his best scorer and weakness
for run and gun i think just 2 best option defense tactic
- man to man : if you have strong outside def skill, jumping skill, blocking for your small man player and your opponent doesnt have good big man
-1-3-1 zone : if you have nice statistic steal every game...and off course this tactic for his big man who have good jumping shot and inside score too
