MVP voting take place at the end of season (after last final game).

MVP will be the player who has the biggest number of:

points + rebounds + steals + blocks

Usually that is some "big" player, because they have PTS + RB...

And also player who played in PO have bigger chance to get MVP title.

And... that's it :)

This is my personal experience... every year my player is MVP ;)

I doubt it is that easily explained. You also forgot assists which logically should be as important as steals and blocks. But it is most possibly based on something similar to your description.

I very much doubt that it has been explained in detail how the MVP is calculated. I would be surprised if you were not in favor if your team finished first in regular season as well.

all that thing play a role in consideration, but the formula ain't that easy ;)

Also in my league guards win that thing more often, but there are also big and small man in the top group(maybe a bit more small guys).

Well I think it is fundamentally flawed if all you look at is stats. I think minutes is an important factor too.

By what you are saying, there is no way any of my players can win MVP despite me finishing with the best record in my league. As most of my games end up being blowouts, my best starters often only plays 28-32 min a game as opposed to the 40+ minutes that most of the stars of opposing teams play hence my players take a bit of a hit in stats.

I wouldn't be so certain of that, especially in lower leagues.

Last year I had players go 1-2 in the MVP race. The MVP averaged slightly over 30 minutes per game. 2nd Place player had 28 minutes per game.

I don't expect to win the MVP vote this year, but I do expect some of my players to get votes. I don't have a single player in the Top 10 of statistics (Points, Rebounds, Assists)... but I also don't have a single player who is averaging more than 29 minutes per game. [The beauty and curse of blowing out teams.]

The top team in my league (22-0) has only 1 player listed in the Top 10 stats for the league and has one player averaging over 30 minutes per game. However, I expect his best player will be voted as the MVP.
