I just started playing this and my first game is already a playoff.. I want to perform as good as possible, but I can't find which skills each position (PG, SG etc) needs.
Also, is it sensible to buy some new guys right away or better keep control over the finances?

So far the game seems great, although to rookie somewhat difficult to understand. Somehow it reminds me soccer manager Hattrick.. :)

we have one (3944.3), but i don't like it very muchgenerally i would rate all defensiv skills more important here(and most times handling and driving a bit lower) and i miss tactical description which also change the importance of the skills.

If you attack outside, normally Jumpshot and -range becomes more important, where with inside Tactics IS of the SF,PF,C becomes more important and the Passing from PG and SG.

Try this thread here: (3944.1)

3rd post is the one you want.

You've also missed the cut of line for buying new players to be eligible to play in the play offs so I would just save your money for now :P

So it means that teams don't bother to spend on new players just now and I can get better players cheaper? In future league games they could prove useful.. :)

you still could buy player the enxt 2 hours and 30 minutes, to be more competive in the playoffs. After this i expect the price to fall, but a additional PO round give you good money too.

No chance I'm gonna beat my opponent in the first PO round and I expect to save the cash to buy when prices fall.. or is $ 300 000 enough to strenghten a rookie's squad against a (much) greater opponent (weird, but he has only 10 players)?

i just over your opponent, and i think you right you don't get him ;)

I wrote that without knowledge of your league, and when the bot team you taken over get into the play off i think it wasn't impossible to find other weak opponents there.
