Not sure if anyones mentioned this before but, like hattrick, i think it'd be more fun plus people would play longer if there was a youth team part aswell. So you can train players from an earlier age to make it to your senior squad.

Personally i think thats the best part of Hattrick and we should bring it to this game.

I don't agree with this.

This is a basketball sim, not Hattrick. We should keep it seperated from Hattrick, otherwise we would have 2 games who are the same but 1 plays ball and the other plays soccer.

+ I like the current draft system and there is no need for youth-teams / college teams right now imo.

yeah good point. wouldn't want BB to be as successful as hattrick. HA!

The best part about these games is seeing a player that you've had in your youth team and then trained him and bought him up into your senior squad. I think alot more uses would stick around if you were able to do that.

You could still keep the draft. i mean the only league world wide that has a draft system is the NBA, the rest have junior leagues and development leagues.

Also your point of keeping hattrick and this separate because otherwise you'd have the same game just different sports is a little strange. they ARE both sims, but for diff sports.

You totally missed the point there. It's not about succes at all, it's about identity. Who wants to play a game which is exactly the same as another game, but just a different sport? Hmm, I don't.

They indeed are both sims, but there is a huge difference between all sims around, just the same genre doesn't mean the same gameplay.

on other thing is that in HT you only have 2 games a week, while here you have 3.

I declined more than a few invitations for a private league because I don't feel like an additional match in a week. Adding a youth squad might be too time consuming for many of the managers...

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

No, i got your point. But you are infact playing the same game but a different sport. If your relying on the draft to give you the variety in games i cant see you hanging around for more then a season or 2. I think the difference your talking about aren't in the sim itself, apart from the draft, but are in the sports as a whole.

Lets face it its going to be game depth that keep people coming back to play season after season and which sport they prefer and understand better.

Yeah i agree, it should be optional to have a youth team. A lot of managers would find it too time consuming. But, theres also managers out there that want the additional experience of training people up. And most likely they are the people that will stick around with Buzzer Beater the longest.

My (unsolicited) advice to you: keep playing through the draft at the end of the season. You may draft a few players you get attached to and will want to train up. I drafted two such players in last season's draft, and now, they are key parts of my team.

you could even train in your first team ;)

And we play an NBA like basketball manager, so the draft was part of the game and a draft and a own youth team are too much ;)
