Hey, I just got promoted to Div III. I want to buy a young player and focus my training this season on him but I currently have a level 4 trainer. Is it worth it to upgrade to a level 5? I mean can somebody give me a breakdown of the benefits i.e do players pop quicker e.t.c

Level 4 is a good trainer, but I think most managers think for the money a level 5 trainer is the best. the level 6 and 7 trainers cost a lot up front to buy. You can probably get a decent salary (18k-25k) level 5 trainer for around 200k. If I was going into USA Div III, I would try to get a lvl 5 guy. Hope to see you there next season.

I haven't seen anyone give a good comparison on training between trainer levels, but there was a link in the forums that gave a good breakdown on how long to hold a trainer based on the money paid for him, and the salary he is paid. It was a little while ago.

Thats correct u should try and get a level 4 or 5 trainer. Depends on your cash but a level 4 on around 15,000 to 17,000 salary is ok at this stage. The low salary level 5 ones usually involve a bidding war. I think the level 6 and 7 ones are too expensive for the extra training u get unless u are a rich top division manager.

What aussie said is good advice.

The amount of benefit between level 5 to level 6 to level 7 is not much. I think the BBs were trying to make the high level trainers more of a luxury for the top teams with a lot of cash to spend. Most teams can't afford the bonus for a level 6 or 7 trainer, but with level 5, you can get some cheap (but with higher salary).

It's just a matter of how much $ you want to spend. Good luck.....
