Ok, so I've trained Outside Shooting this week.

I had 5 players that qualified for this training, having played 48+ minutes at the right spot. Additionally, all of them were being trained for the first time in OS, so some pops at least in JR were very likely.

None of my players popped up, in any skill.

Now, this is happening to me for the second consecutve season (last season I trained my big men in the 1st week but had no pop), so I'm starting to suspect it is not a case.

My main doubt: is the weekly minutes breakdown correct at season start? Or should I assume that the season has started on Thursday, so all the minutes played previously are wasted?
Maybe I should also point out that I've played 3 PO final games both in season 8 and 9, so one game on Saturday and one on Sunday, followed by the scrimmage.

If you trained 5 players this week, then you must have selected "team" training, is that right?

"Team" training is a very slow one so that may be the problem.

No, it was a two-role training.
One of them had 48 minutes, one 49, one had 52... you got it. It's not easy to train 5 players in 2 roles, but it can be done.

Ok sorry I havent noticed you have played TB in Finals and thought you played only 2 games in the week, my bad...

Well, it depends on so many things that you cant this is a bug in the game...I have seen 30+-year-old players in your team...did some of them train? ...and so on and so on...

BB-Charles said once that it is very unlikely that there is an unnoticed training bug since they have a very good way of tracking these bugs and if there is ONE player in the world who didnt get his training, they immediatelly notice it.

Well, trained players were 19, 20, 21, 21, 23 yrs old. Not terribly young, I admit, but still...

My point is: in, say, 25 overall weeks of training I've had no pops only three times.
One of them was in the middle of a season, and I sort of expected that.
The other two times were in wk1 of season 8 and 9, and both after a F/TB/SC streak.

I'm not saying it's necessarily a bug, but it's hard to see it as a coincidence either. I can't help but think there's some kind of anomaly due to wk1 being split in two different seasons.

In my experience it usually takes 2 weeks for a skill to pop. Have been playing for about 3 months though so other GMs with more experience can verify this

I train 5 players (each getting 48+ minutes) at 2 positions with a level 4 trainer. My players usually are 18-20 with potential of 7 at least

Its unusal for a player on my team to pop after 1 week, it happens but not enough, especially if the skill is high

Depends on what their sub levels were though if they were high they could of popped after 1 week. In his case no one popped so there sub levels must have been low

It is a very slow training . 3-5 for an up in jump range , 5-6 for jump shot for 18-20 year players.
