All -
I have not seen the answer for this question in the forums or game guide - but it seems to be common knowledge that I am not smart enough to figure out . . . so I need help!
My question is whether a player is trained according to: 1) his 'best position' as determined by the game; 2) by the position he plays during the week; or 3) both.
Example: I have a 6'10" point guard who I am playing at PF. Assuming he has 60 minutes of time at PF during the week, will he benefit from training if I train my Guards for Handling? Will he benefit if I train my C/PF on rebounding? Would he benefit from either?
As a follow up. What if I played him for 40 minutes at PF and 10 minutes at PG . . . then would he train both? In that case, would he NOT fully benefit from a 'guard training' because he did not have full minutes at a guard position . . . or does 1 minute per week allow him to qualify for that positions' training?
I apologize if this is remedial . . . I just cant figure it out! Thanks for the help.

your playe rwill benefit from training according to to positions
you play him during the week
the best position writen for the player is a suggestion only
if you play this player as a PF you should train PF/C for him to train, if you will train guards it would'nt have any effect on him

Thanks for the answer - so just to clarify, if he plays 99 minutes at PF, and 1 minute at PG - he will benefit from any guard training, since he played in a guard position and he had enough minutes?
Thanks.

No only his minutes played at guard count ie. he would only get 1 minutes worth of guard training. If he was trained at PF he would get full training.
