Only a simple consideration in the merchandising; have you thnk that some managers can make some favours to their friends or to themselves in the calling of the national team? Second point, you must reduce the random in the draft if this can influence a lot the economy (already now there are teams earning 2m from a drafted player, I will earn zero). The ideas are good but the application not

Regarding the economy, soon we will see players sold for 10 millions. This can be ok if next season we will see the same players sold at 10 millions. In season 9, 5 m were a lot of money, this season will be probably the average sale price, next season what we should expect? The balance is difficult to get but please don't change suddenly our incomes a long term plan is impossible otherwise...

I must agree, getting one good draftee can be more valuable than two seasons of hard work.
Even more, if you manage your team quite good, you will be high ranked, loosing any chance of getting promising draftee.

The main problem here is that buying potential is growing slow and therefore you have very little overal price difference between draftee and NT player with wage of 200,000...
To rephrase - there is nothing strange in buying draftee for 1,5-2,0M but it is very problematic when you can`t sold great, hardly trained NT player for more then 5M.
