1) I know that if you have a player that has one of the best performances, ppl buy his jersey more. Does this also apply with league leaders? If so, which ranks (top1, top 3, top 5, top 10, etc.)

2) How much does a player w/ one of the best performances affect your profit from merchandise. I have a player, [player=Alessandro De Lellis] (10339981) who has a weekly salary of $3651. He's by far the oldest on the team at 29, but his experience is still atrocious and he isnt as skilled as some of my younger players. I dont usually train him, because I rather train my younger players. I also dont play him in the important games. When I do play him, he does alright and makes a decent contribution. So my question is, is it worth it to keep him (and not train him or play him in important games) just because he has a best performance or not? Does his attract enough money from the fans to compensate for his salary?

Thanks

I would think winning is the most important thing consideration. Fans are happier with a winning team so should buy more merchandise. Just play the players that will win you the game.

Well it only says league leaders and not best performances in the rules so i'm guessing it has no effect

His key for your team is his expierence. As long as he's on your team, starting or bench, I would guess his figures are calculated in the equation that determines the out come. Sometimes a player is worth more to your team than anyone elses. As for merchandise if he's the best player on the floor, fans will take to him more & so buy his jersey etc, so I would say yes he will increase your sales.
Hope this helps, just my thoughts.

:) The answers you get are not the best.

Too bad I can't answer your question either. Unfortunately to test how big is impact is you'd have to fire/sell him. One thing though:

Finally, fans from around the league tend to notice the league leaders, particularly in important categories such as points, rebounds, and assists but to some extent in all categories. If your team has players among the league leaders, you will see a bump in jersey sales from fans of other teams in your league, with an additional bump for the most eye-popping numbers in your country or in all of BuzzerBeater.

Is what the manual says. I always thought the league leaders were the rankings of that season (so the top10's you see, but also in some other stats). From your post I understand that he has a league record. Am I right? If that is so, I don't know if that also gets you more merchandise.

your reading my answer the wrong way round. I will put sarcasim in "" for you from now on.
Try reading the rules, it states as well that Expierence regardless of what is stated is a variable value & goes up as well as down. Now that's something doesn't make sense, why not just state it as it is, a smart player doesn't dump for a game then get smart again.

"Sorry." I have spent all my life in the US (English being my first language), so "me ingles aint no very good-good and me no understand no sarcasm." "Maybe I should tell my honors English teacher to teach me sarcasm." "Or maybe i should watch more family guy." As a matter of fact, "you could be my personal sarcasm tutor," because you are obviously "very good" at sarcasm.
"Thank you very much for completely answering my questions." "There were very helpful!"

p.s. Ive had the player ever since I started, and his experience hasnt changed at all (hes the oldest on my team at 29). I used to start him every game, and his experience has always been atrocious the whole time. In fact, my whole team has the experience of atrocious, no matter what age.

p.p.s. notice no " " in the p.s. above (which means it's true!)

Sincerely, "Your humble student of sarcasm",
keen

Given how recently you've started, this is not surprising at all. It often takes close to 2 full seasons to pop a level in experience.
