Here is a question I cannot answer. I assume we all agree that Çilingir Çerçi is a very good team composed with great players. How is it possible that it keeps losing games week after week. The mean average salary of its players is about roughly 20000. His players get a rating close to 9.5 or more each game. We are talking about a team of millions of pound worth players. So the thing I tend not to understand is how come a team of such magnitude keeps losing by weaker teams, or if it wins it wins with a small margin when it should be winning easily with lots of points. Could it be the game engine? Season by season the psycology of the team changes?

So... Gold Towers, Cyprus Fighters and BC Teammate are better than Çilingir Çerçi.

You won against Çilingir Çerçi because you look stronger: Mentruyt is good, but Mitchell plays as Small Forward (he's not Small Forward), Helming play Guard and he's a Power Forward, Pavarotti plays Point Guard and he's a Power Forward... Begonha plays Center and he's a Guard...

I don't know if he was drunk when he sets the line up :-) but all positions were wrong (may be, for a strange training session!).

Against Paphos he plays wrong tactics (2-3 against R&G) and some players don't play in the best position.

Against Syntaxer he was wrong on everything... may be a choice or he forgot to set the line-up.

It's not game engine and it's no psycology, he made many errors and he has lost many games. Moreover, except for some players, many of them wasn't in the best game shape, but I've seen some respectable and average during this season.

Lol man. You dont scout u r opponents at all?How are u making the plans for the games? What steve told u they are so obvious, and for sure not a rocket science. Now about Cerci, for some time, was bored, and when he came back, the season was already lost for him, so now he is experiment, and joking around.

:-) eh eh, Good luck for this "strange" season, you're leaving space for new younger coach as JohnnyB and TassosC, right? then... after all, you will kick their asses... right? :-p

C'mon man, you've a good team, if you will train some players constantly you will find many improvements on your team!

I can understand what Çilingir Çerçi is trying to do or at least I can assume cause it is something I am trying to accomplish aswell. The aim is to fill up the weakness of your players in other pisitions from the natural position. For example a centter and a pf witth a proficient jump shot and outside shot with proficient outside defence can be a leathal weapon both from inside (if he has a very good inside shot) aswell as from outside. the same goes for sg and pg. train their inside shot so as to be able to play any tactics you want at any position you want. I believe is a great strategyr. In the end Çilingir Çerçi will concist of great ALLAROUND players. I believe this is very good tactics on the long term and I am trying to achieve the same on my trainnees Esperiadis and Mpasis. make them allaround players. and no I do not believe bc teammate is better team than Çilingir Çerçi and not even Cyprus fighters although both are great super teams (no offence guys!) Lets see if this strategy will come out strong shall we?

Cerci use his money power. Being the oldest team in Cyprus can give the money to buy the players, that u cant or dont know how to train, but this is not how to built a good team on this game.

About the training, yep a good all around player can be very useful, but u have to built a players that are great on a specific positions, and then try to train secondary skills. If u dont do that u will have all around players but mediocre. You cant win like that.

Last season i have proved that i was the best team dont i? I did'nt had the best players for sure but... wining take much more than just have a good players. U must learn how to use the tactics properly, how to manage the enthusiasm, gameshape ETC.

This season is Gold Towers are the best time right now, but we are the middle of the season. Lots of things can change by the end dont u think?
