So this is my problem. I train 3 young PG in that way that they each play onegame and so get 48 min. in the last game my coach substituted my PG without any particular reason. i set strictly that he is the only one on PG (i put him in all 3 boxes) and put Strictly follow depth chart. i didn't have any aditional players on the team that weren't playing (he was substituted by my first SF) and he definetly didn't get injured (i checked the game again). I'm really mad this time.... beacuse it didn't happen for the first time.... and now he won't get the entire training...

one question

The player that you put in SF position, he is a PG?

because exist games that if you put one guy that is PG to SF, during the game we could be put in PG position.

Placing one player in all three positions of the depth chart makes it likely that he will get 48 minutes, but does not guarantee it.

Aside from blowouts, injuries, ejections and tiredness (low stamina), the coach can substitute a player for other reasons if he's trying to win a game: for better free throws, rebounding, or three-point shooting.

As a general note, getting training minutes is intentionally made challenging.

Well we were winning for 30-40 points so its not beacuse of that.... The player that played on SF is SG .. i know but he should play 48 min there was no particulara reason for substitution... im just mad that he didn' play the whole game and i wanted to share that :D well i hope that it doesn't happen again :)

As I said, 48 minutes from one game are not guaranteed. Use this strategy at your own peril

Your player has played 47 minutes, right?
I've seen it before and usually has to do with stamina. At least with me it's the only reason I've found out

Do not set player as reserves (3rd box). No one, not even the one that you make to play the 48 minutes. if you do that, they may change their position or go to the bench.

I'm always make a player to stay the 48 min (for training reason), and if he doesn't have foul troubles or get injured, he stay in the court the 48 minutes.

Good luck.

Who cares?!

the only player i set in the 3 box was the PG itself... (he was in all 3 boxes) other 3rd boxes were empty... so i don't know if that affects something. i will try the next match... i hope it helps. tnx for all edvices;)

Ok, don't do that, just put it on 2 boxes and let me know if the situation improves Good luck. Oh I forgot, do not call more than 9 players if you are training at 1 position.

(I understand your frustration because the same thing has happened to me)

The other thing you can do to maximize the probability that your player will not be substituted is to make sure that there are no extra players on the active roster that are not in the depth chart, since they can also be substituted in under some circumstances.
