Who are my "rebounders" when I let my guards defend on PF, C? Do the matchups affect my team rebounding?
Rebounding does not depend on position. Your rebounders are the players with the highest rebounding skill :)Ratings are calculated based on your player skills only. Therefore, by definition, they shouldn't be including any sort of match-up information.
So I guess the quote from the manual isn't correct anymore? Rebounding: Center and power forward weighted heavily, small forward somewhat heavily, both guards medium.

The quoted text refers to the calculation of the team rating for Rebounding. The rating do not determine who collects a rebound, it's just a rough indication of the overall rebounding skill of your team, and are indeed calculated as written in the rules.
So, in case of rebounding it doesn't matter if I led my Center play on PG or on Center. He rebounds on every position the same? It does only affect the team rating at the end of the game?
He will use his rebounding in exactly the same way he would, though the match-up will be different. I guess the jury is still out on what the exact results from this will be.edit: Let me clarify, the way rebounding works after the changes is the ball bounces in the direction of one pair of players, and who gets the rebound is determined by who has a better rebounding skill.I am pretty sure the second part of this definition doesn't change based on where you field your player, but the jury is still out on how exactly the bouncing of the ball works :)
