Every player has a hidden attribute on how frequent they foul. It has nothing to do with the overall skills of the player though to a certain extent having low stamina increases your chances of fouling or thats what i heard anyway.

From what i understand stamina decrease is random, missing some game time shouldn't matter.

i dont think its this hidden attribute fault. look at this player stats in season 10. its only 1,5 foul per game. and most fouls are made at the end of season.

That's because he was sold late in the season. His role and leagues changed. He could still be an aggressive player, but one thing I noticed is that the OP loves to play 3-2, which leaves his player kind of vulnerable inside. That could certainly be a contributing factor as well.

and at the end of last season is actualy when i picked him up only had him for 7 games at end of season. So could it be the defense I have been playing? I was running the 3-2 cause I played some teams with good outside players and it seemed to work well. I wonder if changing to man or 2-3 would help?

Looks like that fouling has to do with the aggressiveness that we dont know, but also with the poor D. I used to have 1 player of that kind (6470628), and on his last season with me aved 3.5 fouls per game. I have sold him to a low div team, and his foul rate even if its lower still is high.

Less competition i guess. Just check his fouls when he was on my team. 1 season had 4.4 and i was on the div II.
