I sold this player for 550 000 approx. (I received 482 460 because of the time he spent on my team). Here's what the price estimate says:
Transfer Price Estimate: There have been 38 recent transfers of 20 year old shooting guards with respectable jump range and star potential. Of these, the ones with skills most similar to Sven Gottlieb have been selling for around $ 100 000 to $ 550 000.
So I played it safe, not to get banned and asked for 550 000 and thinking that I wouldn't find a buyer. To my great surprise, I noticed that I was down a SG. I checked my economy and... wow, he was sold. I click on him and... he's back on the selling market... for 1 000 000 $. So, that's legal ? I followed the "rules" by keeping the price in range, someone buys him and asks for two times the value ? Technically, I got screwed by being honest and by trusting the game itself.
Next time, I'll ask for MORE than the estimated value. WAY MORE.
I can buy a player from you for $1,000, then place him on the TL again for eleventy billion dollars, but that doesn't guarantee a buyer.
