What the hell is going on here?

Only a few days ago some people were surprised that I seemed to know quite well how enthusiasm drops. I decided to reveal some of the research I have done and to ask some people for help as well.

Right now I know that the numbers I posted in the Bugs forum were not as accurate as I thought and I apologize for that.

Nevertheless, currently I am on a pretty good way to decipher the real enthusiasm drop as my calculations are inaccurate only in high enthusiasm levels (10+) and it differs only by 0,05 maximally.

What do you need, then?

1) I am looking for a few volunteers whom I would send an *.xls file with a table where they would write their enthusiasm shown values and they would send the filled file weekly back to me so that I could pecify my calculations.

2) I am looking for someone who would like to help me with calculating the formula. I think the maths used here is not as difficult as in NT Rankings but right now I am stuck in the calculations and can't get out of it. More brains can come up with more thoughts.

3) This issue is not as important right now as the previous two - I am looking for someone to help me with putting my research into a more "interactive" design than Microsoft Excel.

If you would like to help me, I'd appreciate if you send me a BB-Mail. Not only will you have a good feeling of helping a man in need, you will also get a pretty good sense of what your real enthusiasm value is. (I think I don't have to accent that I would like to examine teams which don't play "Normal" all the time :-)

There are several FAQs regarding enthusiasm asked on the forums and even though some of them were answered before, I think it is not bad to repeat them:

1) How do TIE and CT affect enthusiasm?

2) If I have for instance level 5 of enthusiasm shown in the Set orders page, does it mean that I can have from 4,5 to 5,49 or from 5,00 to 5,99?

3) What is the maximum enthusiasm value?

4) What is the maximum enthusiasm value right before a match?

As I said in the first post, high enthusiasm values can differ from my calculations so I beg you not to stone me if in the future someone figures out that I was wrong. :-)

1) TIE = enthusiasm * 1,33; CT = enthusiasm * 0,5

2) "a" is right. Enthusiasm values doesn't behave like skills and having 5 shown means that it could be as low as 4,5 and as high as 5,49.

3) Maximum enthusiasm value shown in the "Set orders" page seems to be 15. The real outcome is 15,45692 and thus it is quite plausible that it can be 16 as well as it is very near the differential value. It could be gotten by playing TIE in all the matches (League and Cup), not sooner than on Week 9 Saturday - after the match. (If there is such a user, I would like to ask him to share his experience with me.)

4) Maximum enthusiasm value right before the match seems to be 12. The real outcome is 11,62174. It could be gotten by playing TIE in all the matches (League and Cup), not sooner than on Week 9 Saturday - before the match.

Well didnt have anyone over79mins last week and with a massage doctor had 2 drops to average. This week 60, 65, 72,72,72,73,73,74,74 with 1 guy at 83. With an injury I couldnt juggle any better than that.....Lets see what occurs.

I have a queston about 2).

In the start of the season, will enthusiasm be 4.5, 5 or 5.49?

I have played TIE in each game so far this season (6 league games, 3 cup games), and after the daily update that occurred a few minutes ago it appears that I will be entering my game tonight with enthusiasm of 12... the Saturday of Week 4.
