I am a new player and just need to find out about training, for a starter in the game is there a specific thing i should be training for my team/individual player or is training of less importance before you start to bring in your own youngsters?

For starters i would get a level 4 trainer. All level 4 trainers are the same so try and get one with low salary. Just looking at your team theres no one there who i would call a good trainee. Players train faster when they are young so its best to get them at 18 or 19 and train them up. I would decide whether u want to train small guys or big guys. Then hit the transfer market and buy either 4-5 guards or 4-5 PF/C as your trainees, better if they are 18 but 19 year olds will be a bit cheaper. The high potential guys are usually expensive but as long as its minimum star/allstar you can train them for 3-4 seasons no problems. I also suggest doing 2 position training, u could have 6 trainees but 5 is easier to manage.

With the new level names, a level 4 trainer now equals an advanced trainer.

Not much actually...My suggestion is that right now just save u r money and work with what u have. U r money are very few to get any serious prospect. You have 2 guards that u can work some with them. They will not be stars but u can built u r team on them while waiting for the upcoming draft.

Also u can sell u Coporan and replace him with cheaper older similar player. With that money that u will get u can buy an other semi-decent/decent trainee.

i think that sounds good, it is a long time to the draft and training is the most importance thing in the beginning so that i would put all avaible money in your trainees(decide if you train 3 or 6 players).

After looking in the market i found it hard to find good trainee's for the money i had available, i ended up buying a 18yr old power forward who looks a good prospect, however he cost a good chunk of my money. I lost my first game because i was dominated in the PF/C position. I'm going to keep on training my bigger players. I already have a 19yr old power forward that is a decent trainee, now i'm looking to buy one more center and train those 3. I have just under100k left which isn't much so it will be hard to get a good buy. I'm hoping to get in some money on my next match tomorrow and spend that along with selling some players. I did buy an advanced trainer which is helpful.
