so I was thinking of training passing on my forwards to increase offensive flow some , is this a good idea? Also would it be best to train passing team training or do one on one drills between my forwards to increase it?

Some passing skills irrespective of position is an good idea.

One on One do NOT train passing. You're better off with passing training.

Team training is also ineffective. You should play the forward in a guard role and train him in passing.

Passing is one of the easiest skills to train so,even if your player is quite tall, you will see some pops in a reasonable rate.

If it doesn't make your life that much harder (game shape/training) then yes,why not...Of course I'd suggest you do it in a scrimage and not in an actual game..
