Hey,
I trained jump shot this week and got 5 pop ups, but at the same time I lost 3 points in stamina (i.e. 3 players went down 1 each in stamina). Is there a reason for this or is it just random?
Should I be training stamina often? Is there another way to increase stamina like giving players more time on the court?

Stamina is totally random. All players lose a little bit of stamina throughout the season. Many managers will train stamina during the all star break or off season when they only have 2 games a week. Stamina is a team training option only.

So should I just ignore the loss in stamina for now? And focus on training my other stats? Does stamina train up quicker than other stats?

Stamina training need around 1-2 weeks for a pop. So yes, it's quicker than most of the other trainings.

I can't find the english link at the moment, but this is from the German Help forum. At the top "Kondition" means stamina.

Cheers. So should I train stamina regularly to keep it up or just focus on other skills? Is stamina the only stat that can be lowered randomly? Or does Jump Shot etc randomly reduce as well?

Nah it doesn't need that much training it will only drop maybe once all season. So training it once maybe twice all season is enough.

All stats decrease slowly when a player has a certain age (something around 32).

However, stamina is the only skill that ALL players lose during the season. I've read before that 1-2 weeks of stamina training are definitely enough to maintain (probably even slightly improve) the current stamina level of all your players.
The best time to do this is during the All-Star break and Off-Season when you have only 2 matches in a week. Or you could do it in a week where you completely messed up the minutes for your trainees.

ah okay. All my players are 18-21 except maybe 1 so that means the other stats won't drop at all?
Okay I'll train the stamina later on in the season.
