PLAYOFF SEEDING
is there any thread same as this one? pls let me know

Teams with the most no. of wins in regular season games, of course gets higher seeding.

seeding tie breaker.

1: most wins against each other
2: if the teams are of different color, the one that belongs to the division that wins in the interdivision games is seeded first. [this helps teams who are unfortunately in the same division of very strong teams]
3: total opponent win record. [add the no. of wins of the teams they beat]
4: point differential

if more than two teams are tied. just follow steps except keep getting back to rule 1 if a tie is broken. for example if the tie of teams A, B and C cant be broken rule 1 and 2, and the red division winning most no. of wins in games of inter division. if A and B are in the red division are in the red division then C is seeded lowest among the three. same is true if A and B are in blue except that C is the highest seeded. then A and B get to rule 1.

Purpose:
1.it makes us want to beat the teams with close strength to us creating some sort of rivalry
2.to remove the advantage of a team in a division of weak teams over a team in a division of strong team
3.to try to beat stronger teams rather TIE them because we think they are impossible to beat.

DRAFT ORDER

Teams with lowest no. of wins drafts first.

TIE BREAKER

1: The team that entered PO drafts latest. For example, a 5th seeded red ties with a 4th seeded blue, then the 5th seeded red will draft first.
2: the team with the most wins against the other teams with the same record drafts first.
3: if the teams are of different color, the one that belongs to the division that wins in the interdivision games is drafts first. [this helps teams who are unfortunately in the same division of very strong teams]
4: total opponent win record. [add the no. of wins of the teams they beat]
5: point differential

Again, the purpose of this is same as the tie breaking of the PO seeding. this suggestion is not perfect, but I think its better than basing the tie breaker on point differential alone.
