Arena can be used to give you a lot of money. Build it up and experiment with prices to maximize profit. Having local players also increases your merchandise income. Saving money is also important, for example make sure you don't have to many players on your roster, or make sure you don't buy staff with very high salaries.

Hope that helps!

I would like to know if I am doing well but my economy report says" There are too few veteran managers in this league for a meaningful league report." Very helpful. I am making $60,000 a week in DIV IV plus the money for winning the cup each week. I am training but it seems very slow, got 0 pops last week. My two main trainees are 19 year old superstars so they should make some progress although I also have harder to train people taking training minutes because they are my best players. My trainer is level 4 is that too low because the level 5 trainers are really expensive?

Only been playing since about 4 weeks to go last season so still need a bit of advice, thanks.

60k a week in Aus div 4 is decent and I would probably say above average so nice job there. The cup wins are a bonus but all good runs must come to an end for div 4 players as they are matched up against tougher opposition so you will be without it sooner rather than later.

A lvl 4 trainer is perfect for your situation. You are also training guards. Their skills on average take a little longer to pop than big men skills. If you had 0 pops last week then I would expect a few more pops in the next week as they are probably on high sublevels

Is this true? In my case it wasn't -- I was training a 19-yr-old HOF Center and was getting pops every other week in whatever I was training in (IS, ID, REB). However, with my 18 ( and now 19) perennial allstar PG - he popped almost every week and had two separate triple pops - I only dbl popped one time w/ my young center (and never tripled popped).

In my short experience (4 1/2 seasons) guard skills pop more often than big man skills.

Check the training speed analysis:

Obviosuly height also plays a factor to training speed.

Also, there are more guard orientated skills than big man skills but I could be mistaken here but you probably saw more pops in the form of different skills rather than the same skill over and over.

$60000 is pretty good I am currently in a Div 4 league. this is my 1st full year of actually paying attention which i started after last years all star break. Currently I have the best team in my league and am undefeated. I tell you this for this reason, my income is at $80k and the league avg. is at $50k so depending on your scouting and staff cost yes you are doing pretty good. At $80k my staff is making $40k and I am spending $20k on salary.\

1,train some boys then sell them out.

2,every season, buy several players on market and sell them without training, make sure your every transaction brings at least 100k net profit. keep your tax rate under 25%.

3,fire some backup players with poor skills to reduce your team's expense

I query number 2. It could work but the market is to unpredictable to rely on that. Whats to say u will get any profit at all. Fans get upset if u do to much buying and selling also.

Yo yall,

my boys have got a real problem, my PR guy tells me all is swell, see -

I am pleased with the team's performance this season 5 balls

The team had a good run in the cup this year 5 balls

The team played well in our last league game 4 1/2 balls

The team played well the last time they were on TV 5 balls

The team played well in our last game against Tassie Cavaliers, our hated rival 5 balls

I am familiar with the star players, and am not afraid that they will be transferred 1 ball (ya this is bad)

The general manager is doing everything he can to try to improve the team 4 1/2 balls

All things considered, I am happy with the direction the team is going in 4 balls

But shoot my merchandise sales is through the floor.

Merchandise: $ 13 308
League Averages from Last Week $ 22 554

We are still in the cup, got the second best record in the association and only lost one game for the season? Shouldn't we be above average? This is costin me like $20,000 a week. Why wont my boys sell some more chilli dogs? Do I need to shoot my PR guy?
