Now, I don't mean TIE, I mean tie. As in, there should be no overtime in scrimmages. I just had one today, and thankfully it ended after the first OT, before my GS minutes got messed up. This is a scrimmage, not a competitive event, so there is no real need for overtime.

I can see your point, but I think this is a very poor idea. IF you do something like this, why not just allow an exact number of minutes per week per player so that there will never be any possibility that, God forbid, something might not be perfect for our teams. Come on, man, there are supposed to be pratfalls along the way. I had a guy get injured in the 4th minute of my game yesterday, meaning he only played for 24 minutes for the week. It happens.
I suppose if you are worried about guys getting too many minutes because of overtime in a scrimmage, leave them out.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Think before you decide on a scrimmage on what kind of opponent you like (even, good, bad..?).

I am opposed to this. OT means getting extra minutes for training, which is a nice bonus if it gets a player closer to 48 minutes.

If you have a player with too many minutes and you don't want that player to get tired, well... don't put him in the lineup!

(Besides, the fans who paid good money to see the scrimmage came to see a game, not a tie. Think about the fans!)

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Really your fans pay money to see your scrimmages? I suppose mine might, but they sure don't pay it to me :(

Anyway, I guess I'll pay closer attention to who I'm scheduling for scrimmages, but it can be hard to tell how good someone will be as scrimmage lineups can vary greatly.

Well, you can then pick well-ballanced opponent, so your coach will not substitute player so much. Thats a way to control it and tie game is the risk you have to take with that type of control.

And often times in basketball scrimmages, they play a 5th or 6th quarter. Should we allow that?
