they are both the same at outside d but the second is more of a post player that can be molded into a good sf i believe whereas the first player is more of a wing player that can also be molded into more of a two way player. any thoughts?

They're both too old and perhaps too tall to be effectively trained in the small man skills needed to be a really good small forward. They also both have a ton of low stats that I wouldn't want from a 21 year old SF trainee. If forced to choose I'd go with the second one due to the higher IS and ID.
I have never tried to train SF, though... so someone more experienced may disagree.

there is a huge difference as to what a canadian second league team needs and has available to them compared to a fourth division usa team.

they are indeed both technically old and too tall, but i would suggest to train the 13k salary guy with a few guard trainees and you have a nice prospect to sell someday and than replace him with a better SF or guard trainee...

that is what i would do.

but remember there are many roads that lead to washington ehhh i mean rome...

I'm sorry but 6'7" is too tall for an SF in this game? That's not the case in the NBA...

Well, if you're talking ideal SF, LeBron is taller than that...
