This is a small suggestion which I think could be implemented easily, but at the same time solve an annoying problem
Why not to make the "characters left" box in bb-mails more evident, in order to prevent sending/receiving cut mails? Or, maybe, not letting the mail to be sent if the characters are too much, like when the object field is not filled.
It happens to me quite often that I receive a mail and I have to ask to the sender to rewrite it because it was cut. It's pretty tedious for both.

The worse part in the cut is the fact that the 1000 caracters are not real 1000. If we pay attention to stop at 1000, our message will be cut. It's more something like 985 caracters which is very small when we have something to explain. I do not count the message's number where I had to divide in two or three BB-Mail to explain simple thing to new guy...


Surely, this an aspect of the same problem that I noticed too, especially if it is necessary to attach a player's skills to the mail...I sincerely hope that something can be made about this issue

And today I notice that the character limit is raised to 3000. Don't know if this is only for supporters or for everyone (I hope the latter), but anyway, thanks! ^_^

It's part of a set of upgrades (along with the style buttons) to the BB-Mail system for Supporters.
It will be announced shortly. I'm glad you like it!

Thanks for making a note of it. It is fixed now and you should be able to send up to 3000 characters.

Fantastic, although not for supporters is not so fantastic. Maybe we should become supporters. The big problem often is when you reply to a message and keep the quotes the word estimate can be wrong. I have often sent messages and had 1/2 of it cut off.
