but we finish 5-2! Best record ever for Cyprus (+0), behind Belgium (+33) and Denmark (+55) with the same .714 W/L record.

I'm really happy we will be in a better ranking position for the Consolation Tournament next season, so we can face theoretically weak opponents than season 10, we prove to Europe that Cyprus exists and that's growing (let's wait for Papanikos, Kakarnakis, Gkavoyiannis, Yiannakakos, Fasoulis and Karayiannidis) thanks to many users all over the world and for some interested users here in Cyprus (GM-johnnyB, Tassos, Pistoleros, Christos, Moti, Gast0ne, Recep, maxibon, Assiotis, Miky, thessalonikios, anri and pathos).

I'm sure that I've made 2 mistakes, but I run some risks during this season to reach 2nd place, anyway, anyone can think that I was wrong CTing 3 times... that I played with wrong players, that I'm a "bad coach" or what else, this is my point of view:

a) Offense against Denmark: I should play "patient offense"

b) Offense/Defense against Deutschland: I should play "patient offense" as well and "3-2 defense"

That doesn't mean that we were certain to be qualified with these adjustments, but we can do better than what we have done together.

I'm sorry for not reaching 2nd place... Happy to score 5 W and only 2 L

I am really proud for our NT. Its amazing what we have achieved thanks to you. You will have my vote when you will chose your next destination. You where born as a coach, so i cant imagine if you dont look to make an other miracle somewhere else. We gonna really miss you.

Eh eh... I don't know for sure, but when I asked to BB-Forrest (for season 10) he told me that schedule was set looking to the World Ranking at the start of the season...

I can't tell you anything more or be sure... Slovensko had a horrible schedule eh eh

Thanks for congrats. If England played as a "normal" coach you would reach 2nd place... I'm sorry for my CT, it doesn't help you, but I've tried to help myself :-)

What i love from that conversation is that my so small country had those results, and its on a debate about the best teams on the tournament I told Steve that i hope in 15-20 years to see him as a coach on Panathinaikos. I think that is one of the highest goals that a European coach can achieve

I dont' know, strange pool for sure... I only can see and calculate my options... I risked, but I think to be right at the end of the tournament.

Next season I hope to have more choice and more quality. I've really envy for some player you have on your NT :-) mainly De Groote!
