Just like any other reg.season game, shouldn't we get economiic funding for running a scrimmage in our arena.. iit might not be alot of people coming to the games but people still come...meaning they are able to get into the game for free... iit would be a little more cash into our pockets for spending.. and put it this way iits like a football team doiing a car wash trying to raise money for their football team...

What you guys thiink????

in times of rising prices i would say teams don't need additional founds, because they actually had to much of it ;)

PS: if a scrimmage players earns more then a cup looser :(

you would see just those spectators having season ticket in their pocket visiting the arena during friendlies, so it wont be much after you split the revenue by half... Just everyone would want to play with teams those have lots of season tickets holders to maximize they profit... Think it wont be more then 10k each... But in this case looser of each CUP round should get some prize for participating, so it could be something like if winner gets 50k, so looser gets 20% as much as winner got. Would be fair, though...

How many teams would play away matches then? Take scrimmage like a game for the fans. It's a family day at the arena with no costs.

I`m not voting for this idea, I just gave some idea what it should look like if BBs would see importance in it... That I don`t actually believe would ever happen

my home team didn't make public scrimmage in 3 of the last 4 years, because they are the opion that making those games public was to expensive because even with low ticket prices and catering security, arena etc. cost more then it brings ;)

This season they started again with two free scrimmage, who was pretty good visited as Club PR^^

Gate revenue could be split 50% each way, no problem.

I personally think getting training without worrying about the results of the game is payment enough. In my scrimmage today I've set my 3rd best PG to play the entire 48 minutes to get full PG training minutes. No way I'd do that in a Cup game if the opponent was near or batter than my team's roster talent.

But, if we did get paid for scrimmages, the result would be horrible if the money earned was less than the Cup earnings. There would have to be some sort of universal scrimmage ticket price that ensure that no team could earn, say $20k for a scrimmage.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!
