I don't think I quite understand the suggestion. Are you suggesting that we can pay to increase attendance once a season? If so, I don't really see the point...just seems like a lot of coding to implement something for only once a season.

Also the residual affect you mentioned, would that be an increase in attendance over the next game or 2? Or would it be a decreased attendance?

Sorry but I don't think it is necessary or that it would add much to the game.

Hire a high level PR guy for one week then fire him.

Mission accomplished!

Can you explain in a little more detail what your idea is please?
What is the residual effect?
How much would it cost to do this on the managers part?
How much would it increase attendance?
Does it always increase attendance or can it have no effect or even decrease it sometimes?

First I thought, what the heck..!?!...then I started liking the thought. This could be a nice tactical addition to the game, thinking of when would be a good time to use it etc... The upcoming effect would boost more if you win the following games...

I appreciate the thought, but I tend to agree with the comment about the PR staff. It's a little bit too much micromanaging when, in theory, it's sort covered under the PR staff. But I did get a chuckle when I started thinking about the sort of giveaways my team might have. (Tonight's chunks are sponsored by...)

I think it's best to just take the long view of the PR manager and assume that whatever is involved in PR, including special fan appreciation nights, happens as a matter of course over the season without managers having to get involved in the details. Making sure we set our lineups and get our training straight and set ticket prices and all scout the TL and all the things we do keep us pretty busy as it is. Setting special nights for the fans is something only managers with extra time can take advantage of, and even if it's not in the details of what the PR manager does, I'm content with assuming that it somehow gets caught up in the general PR level.

But again, I like the thought of adding something personalized to the game.
