Team Analysis

Today we decided to give a few tips on some of the CBBA team managers regarding their teams, strenghts and weakness as we have observed through seasons 11 games.

1. Megalonisos. The true champions of Great 8. Surely a team of great and strong players but like in really life even the strongest have their weakness. The major weakness of this team is surely its inability to play close to the basket. Surely the team is respectable in a look inside tactic but is not even close to its ability in a R&G system. This makes the team even more predictable and in future games could end up catastrophic. Neither Montemayor nor Gaillard from the big guys is capable or a strong inside scoring game. Same goes to most of the teams small guys. In respect to the defensive ability of the team we salute the players. Megalonisos surely can take any teams inside score planning with high colours. In respect to Penezic we all agree that the guy can shoot but nevertheless its scoring ability comes to contrast with its semiweak inside defense. Silverentand must be the starting lineup weakest player both offensively and defensively along with Salvaggio.

2. Ekleptismenoi. The strong characteristic of Ekleptismenoi is the teams ability to play both outside and inside the basket as the manager pleases. We bring to everyones attention that both the starting pg and sg are more than capable of scoring from inside thus giving a versatility to the teams tactics.
In a R&G tactics most of the teams points are been produced by Schellboegl, Chazodikis and Papanoutsos but nevertheless we cannot exclude Torres who despite being a center or power forward is very capable of scoring even from long distances. What can we say about Azanon the sf of the team? This player truly remains a mystery as he appears to be a scoring machine in some games and in others not, regardless of the teams tactics.
In respect to defense, we observe a weakness of Hajducak in perimeter defense, something that is not observed by the teams other big guy, Torres. Equally semibad outside defense is seen by the teams usual sg Panousopoulos in surprise to his capability in scoring.
We do not wish to go in more depth in the teams analysis as to protect the teams integrity.

3. Bros 456. The fast upcoming team of Great 8 along with Pistoleros and Zeys. The team usually plays a R&G system like most of the teams of CBBA. We start with the teams ability to score when the manager decides to use a look inside tactic. We would expect both Charavgis and Deligeorgiou to perform much better. Their inability to score with ease close to the basket should surely make their manager think. Same goes for Valiokas. In respect to the teams inside defense we include that their tends to be big weakness again from part of the smaller guys, pg and sg and slightly less from the sf position. One is for sure that both teams big guys are not exceptional to their defensive and offensive responsibilities. Aranzana can be characterized as a player with no exceptional outside defense and neither Fucai and in addition with a game against good inside opponents could mean destruction in respect to fouls for Bros 456. Despite all that have been said, Bros remains a great team with a lot of capabilities and surely not a team to underestimate. Could the team become the powerhouse of season 12? We leave the answer to the specialist.

4. Zeys . Not much can be said about this team but we are amazed by some of the wins the squad has achieved. We give attention to both Gittas (our favourite), Almog, Guariguata and Richmond. All players are capable of scoring in a R&G tactics. Defensively perhaps the weakest of them all is Guariguata as well as Almog, beyond and inside the 6.25m line. What can we say about the big guys? Except from Almog we have nothing to add. Bad defense and bad offense in respect to the managers tactics. All we can say is that Zeys needs to cover a lot of ground to reach the top of the CBBA.

We end our teams analysis somewhere here. Perhaps next week we can analyse some of the strong teams of Big 8 conference. Until then goodnight.
