We shall take some time to analyse the upcoming game between Cyprus Fighters and Passif Agressifs.
Surely is the attraction of the Tuesdays games. Two of the strogest teams of CBBA clash each other for the win that might end up very important for the championship this season even if its very early yet to make predictions.

We start with the last seasons champions Cyprus Fighters. No new addition has been seen, but still the big guys have evolved even more growing in all primary inside skills. The team has the advantage of homecourt but repsectivly Passif has the advantage of enthousiasm. Disadvantage of Johnnys Team is surely the SF position with Mcneil and ofcouse the fact that the team consists of only two guards (Leberecht and Delpeuch). All the other guards are way below average. Could Passif foul atleast one of the 2 out? Surely this would change the game entirly for the benefit of Passif. In respect to the champions big guys nothing is to be said. Super players inside the basket and respectable from mid range. Special attention should be given if Cyprus Fighters decide to play LI. We bring to everyones attention the latest game between the two were both teams decided to use a balanced tactical plan in offense. Fighters managed to score most of their points from the PF and C as the guards were isolated by the defensive abilities of Passif guards Ivic and Gama.

We observe a better outside scoring ability of Passif but a weaker outside defense (strong over atleast proficient) The same goes to the inside defense as Fighters are overcoming Passif again. Once again we bring to your attention the latest game between Cyprus Fighters and Megalonisos were Penezic (SG) nearly fouled out Delpeuch after a clever tactical plan of Jason 1983 to play LI instead of its usual R&G. Based on the statistics of the match Fighters against Megalonisos we come to the conclusion that both guards of Fighters tend to be not special in respect to their inside defense.
Should Passif take advantage of this? Ofcouse but as long as its guards are atleast strong in their inside shooting.

What about Passif defense? It is a gamble. Should the team play man to man? 3-2? Its a gamble since Fighters have the ability to play well both in outside tactics, inside tactics and balanced ones. What do we advise? We rather not say as to not influence the managers. Our idea will be revealed during the match. Coming to think about it is not hard to understand our idea if someone gives attention to all the above.
What about Cyprus Fighters? Not much to say about tactics. Anything is good!!! Passifs inside scoring is by far weaker than the teams outside ability, so the answer to what should the manager play defensively is easy. A choice between 3-2 and man to man. 2-3 is not advisable in our opinion.

To end our analysis, the major difference of the two teams is in the PF position and less in the Center. Unfortunately for Passif its PF is by far weaker in nearly all aspects except rebounding than Gagalatos.

After a lot of thinking we decided to write how we would plan the tactics of this game for the benefit of each team.
So here we go:

Cyprus Fighters: Motion or Push the ball / 3-2 defense or man to man.
Passif Agressifs: R&G or Motion / 2-3 defense.

For Cyprus Fighters the tactics are obvious. For Passif our tactical plan might sound extreme but we believe it to be the most correct taking into account that if atleast one of Fighters guards makes a few more fouls or fouls out the balance would shift to Passif. In such a case the team will tend to play with its big guys ( if push the ball is picked) and thus Passifs defense will be ready.

We are interested in reading YOUR opinion on the games tactics, so dont feel shy just state your opinion! Anything is welcomed!
