Last season I won the league and am now playing in div. III. Naturally most of the teams are better than mine, but I think I have a good chance of staying up. I wanted to get your thoughts on one aspect of training. I have a 5 man training agenda, having bought 2 18 yo guard trainees to join 3 other guards. The thing is that my best guards are at this moment much better than the rookies, so in close games and even if I get blown out, they will end up playing a lot of minutes, making minute management tougher.

I'm thinking that in games where I'm almost certain to lose I should start my rookies to balance their minutes. It's the best thing to do, right? I imagine some of you have been through this same issue

once out of cup this is easier buy yes when just promoted at the start of the season there are probably some games you should just throw such as against the higher div team that was relegated

in these play tie and run your rookies 48 mins

Thanks. Don't actually need to run them for 48 mins. As long as in the Saturday and Sunday games they get a total of around 30 minutes then it's all pretty comfortable.
