You can search every skill and attribute on a player except for experience. It'd be nice to have a filter for this skill/attribute.

And it would be great if we can get an aproximate idea of how experience affects during the games, in wich way player experience has good influence for our teams, and how we can improve that skill in our players.

That in some section of BB rules. Of course.

Bit of information in the game manual, but overall this skill is a mystery.

(/community/rules.aspx?nav=GameEngine)

A player must decide whether the opportunity presented is good enough to take a shot… this of course changes as a function of amongst other things… the shot clock, the players experience, the score of the game, the history of the quality of shots the team has seen recently, the offense the team is running, and whether that rookie shooting guard of yours thinks he knows better than the coach does how good he is at making jump shots.

Thanks Brian, i´m aware of that and i´ve seen in mine games that last important shoots sometimes are taken by experienced players. Moreover, if we´re using a slow tactic, looking for best shoots, we can imagine that experience will increase his importance.

However, we still don´t know how you gain it and how much it really can affect during the games development.

Only addition to this I have ever heard from a BB is when Charles drops into some of the games when its close.

He has hinted strongly that in the 4th quarter the team with more experience 'should' walk away with the win. Now Im curious to learn which is better.. stronger experience over stronger stamina?

We are approaching an interesting phase to the game where some of the games better players are 26-28yo and managers face key decisions to cash in now OR use the player for the remainder of his career (assuming he will only fetch a nominal amount in his 30's) and take advantage of his experience. There will sure to be managers both sentimental to the players theyve committed lengthy training too as well as those that will purposely want to test the experience theory. I'm also sure there will be those that prefer to sell their 27yo for a slightly less skilled 23-24yo and try keep more re-sale value on their players.

I guess the community will have to try to figure more out between us so we can make a better educated guess than we are able to now.

Just for the record.
I´ve three players with experience in 6, one in 9, one in 4 and two in 3, between them are mine 5 opening players and two first second choice player. I won incredible games against teams far superior... wich could be in part explained because of the experience, among other issues.

In mine case your example applies: i´m sentimental to mine trained players and i´m testing experience effect. (Just for this season)
