If Buzzerbeater is a simulation of real life basketball we should be able to see the defensive switches for both our own games and games in which our teams are not involved. Think about it, we can see what defenses are ran in each game, did the "scout" at the game just forget to write down which players were defending where?

I know the defensive switches are brand new and that this just hasn't been implemented yet but I feel that if we are going to call BB a simulation not a game then Defensive matches must be available in the Box Score as in any real life game these would be readily visible.

I think that makes sense if these would be visible only for the games, where are our own teams involved.

How do we know what tactics were run in other games? I think it should be all or nothing if this is going to be implemented. But please expand on why you think it should be just our own games. Do you think it would reveal too much information?

Would be not so easy to determine what type of defense your opponent pick unless you know him already into deep. It looks like interesting factor to me which could be used to this. This is the only argument, but could be worth.

Assume that defensive skills are only one which are taken into consideration during calculation. (if you switch defensive matchup)

So if you use your SG to defend opponents SF for a tactical reasons, his other skills will not take any effect, just the defense, but only one who could figure out this confusion would be your actual opponent after the match, the next one could be suprised by defensive ability of your SF like the last one.

So it is not any useles-only-providing-information thing, or only help during training juniors on unusual positions, therefore I think that should be taken into consideration to show that only to the teams which are involved.

If your opponent would be able to see this so would the scouts for the other teams in your league who report the tactics back to your league opponents.

I don't follow...I feel providing this information only enhances the tactical thinking that occurs before the game and would make the simulation more realistic.

Yeah I like the idea, adds something a bit more realistic to the game.
