I have suggested it before but I bring it back. I think that the wages should be rounded. It's unrealistic to pay your players $17 732. In real life you would pay them $17 700! And your economical manager wouldn't tell you in real life ''Boss, we have a merchandise profit of $38 417''. He would tell you ''Boss, we won $38 400 in merchandise''. The bank balance wouldn't be $1 568 924 but simply $1 600 000...
Hope the BBs will change that.

But you don't take the 24 cents every time you get it, right?
I mean that you get some $500 notes and some $200 or $100 ones...

i believe he normally get the money on his bank account, and there you get each cent of it ;) And for professional basketball, the guys really get rounded sums as salary(maybe like your salary for a hour), but then the chief have to pay their taxes, the leasing of the car, the insurance etc. Which make it a "ugly" sum.

For merchandise, what happens if you sell a cup with your logo on it, are you really sure someone would pay 100$(+ taxes so in germany 123,45679$) for it? or did he get it for free, because it makes no sense to sell something below 100$ because the number is ugly and you ropund it down to zero :)

I think I wasn't clear enough.
I should give examples:
Player A Wage: $18 500
Player B Wage: $6 700
Trainer Wage: $16 600
Doctor Wage: $9 300
This way our total expenses will be like: $129 200

Attendance: $135 200
Merchandise: $37 200
TV Contract: $73 000
This way our total revenues will be like: $221 300

So our total balance will be like: $805 300

Think of it accounting-wise. You never round up accounting figures even in big companies. I don't want my numbers to be rounded up.

So neither your player will get a round salary(ok maybe he get it, but you won't pay it), and also your shops won't make clear sums :) So this example don't change anything of my view.

Well, I haven't followed this thread much, but I am strongly against rounding up player salaries. Even with the new system you can guess low/high sublevels of some skills of players from draft (and others) by comparing actual salary with salary estimation via salary calculatior. Although it doesn't help a lot and it is usable only in certain cases, I wouldn't want to lose that.
