In response to the "Wow what a shame" thread, I'm curious.

Why don't players from teams who's managers retire go straight to the TL? Would the TL simply get too large?

I agree with one of the posters in that thread that at least rookies with a salary over $5k should not be removed from the game. Anyone else have any thoughts about this?

Players over ~10k already get placed on the transfer list. No need to flood the market with terribleness. I could agree with 18 y/o's over maybe 6k to be saved, but that may flood the market with good young players, as well. In addition, the National Team managers (NT & U21) can save players by adding them to their roster if they would like.

FYI - we knew of said players abilities and predicament beforehand. Honestly though, he only had a Perennial Allstar potential. Good enough for the U21, but probably not the NT.
