There really needs to be a way to stop daytraders. Maybe have a length of time on your team limit for new players. I play Cycle Manger and when you buy a new racer, you have to keep him on your team for at least a month. It seems the taxes on players are not working enough to curb day trading. I think these people forget that this is a basketball game.
Reason for this rant....
I see these same teams buying up all the Free agents and then puting them back in the bin the next day. Very sad..

Well maybe if people that actually needed these players bought the free agents in the first place there wouldn't be this problem. And if you make it that you have to have a player for a month, then people would just buy the free agents, wait 4 weeks and sell them for even more, and will receive even more because the tax will go down. So it will just become month trading for more money instead of day trading for less profit.

I see your point but I saw a day trader take on like 400,000 worth of salary on a Wednesday and he sold them off on the Sunday so he didn't have to pay the salaries. If he had to pay the salaries for 4 weeks, maybe he wouldn't have bought all those 6 players. I think having to hold on to a player for a month would help fix the day trader problem...peace

So he bought 6 players with a combined salary of 400,000? And sold them all before Sunday so he didn't have to pay the salary? If you don't mind me asking, how much profit do you think he made from that before taxes? What about after taxes?

First, He was from an Asian country. I will not name his team.. The players all came off between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon. The reason I know this is because I am shopping for a player to help me in the playoffs. It seemed every time I was in a bidding war, it was with him. And I am not complaining about losing the bidding war. I got a decent Free agent. It was just funny to see all of these players I had bookmarked go straight back into the bin to come off on Saturday night Asian time( high user time) and no comp. from free agents. It is a good scam if your not trying to win now. I really don't know how much he lost in taxes, but one player he bought for 1.7 million got put back in the bin and sold for 3.2 million. I am not trying to single anybody out just wish they would make it harder to Daytrade.......peace

I agree that even with taxes, daytrading remains a problem. But keeping them posted a month would create problems with bankruptcy. A lower league player buys a 500k+ salary center and get's himself into so much dept, there is no way out. So we can not actually force them to keep the player. I initially thought that linking players selling to games played would solve the problem, but injuries will kill that plan. So the only thing that would actually work is raising the tax from those transfers to 90% the first week and perhaps 80% second week and with tax coming back to current system after four weeks. This way you can't kill your club in the lower division, but take a reasnoble hit trying to constantly daytrade. Ofcourse BB-s have regulated daytrading to be hard, but I think it should be even strickter.
The other way we could approach this would be letting teams sell 12 players (so basically the whole team that can be listed for a game) per season. After that everything would be taxed with 99% intrest.

I imagine with 14 buys and 12 sales in the last quarter, you are in the top 1% of active managers in the game and you ar criticizing other day traders? ;)

I think we can all agree that buying to improve your team (upgrades to certain positions) is different from buying for the sake of selling.

First off...I have sold only one player in the last 2 months that was on my team for less than 1 month..That was because he got injured. I do buy $1000 bums for scrimmages and then fire them. The guy that I have in the bin right now I am getting 97% of the sell. So what are you talking about? Day trading is when you buy a player in low user periods and keep him on your team for less than a week and then have them come off at 9pm European time. In fact..Weren't you the most famous day trader in the history of BB? tell me this Mr. Superfly? How many players have you had on your roster for less than two weeks since January?

ok, so I see that you also made 15 transfers in last month so you also can be called trader :):)
My point is that at the moment we have a very well tuned transfer system that don't allow you to make money from daytrading, because the % from/after transfers will definitely kill the financial system of your team.
